LOCATIONS

Welcome to the vibrant world of Sushigo Huayacan, a delightful sushi haven nestled in the heart of Cancún on Av Huayacán. If you're on the lookout for a satisfying and wallet-friendly sushi experience, this place should be on your radar. With their main goal being to provide a quick yet tasty alternative to traditional dining, Sushigo has become a standout spot among locals and newcomers alike.

One of the highlights of Sushigo Huayacan is their attentive and friendly service, often praised by customers like Sergey Miroshnichenko and Kelsey Vines, who specifically sing the praises of their standout servers. The combination of great service and reasonable prices—around 1,000 pesos for a meal for two—makes this establishment a fantastic choice for families or groups of friends looking to enjoy a meal without stretching their budget.

The menu features an array of sushi rolls that cater to various tastes. Customer favorites include orders with crab and jalapeño, which add an exciting twist to classic sushi patterns. However, some diners, like Alexis 181, noted that while the flavors are enjoyable, they might not always hit the mark on freshness, and the absence of ginger is a puzzling omission for a sushi experience. This feedback highlights an opportunity for Sushigo to refine their offerings and elevate the dining experience just a notch higher.

At the core of Sushigo's essence is its ability to be a go-to spot for those in nearby residential areas like Palmaris and Cumbres. The restaurant's value for money is evident, considering you can serve a group of four for just $1,000 MXN, as mentioned by Darren Anderson. It's a great choice for a quick bite when you're in the mood for sushi without the extensive wait time associated with fine dining.

While the ambiance may reflect its location in a strip mall, the energy of the restaurant—filled with chatter and laughter—creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Though some customers, like Jan, urge that the staff could be more accommodating to tourists, Sushigo’s unique selling point lies in the blend of quick service and satisfying meals, making it a popular stop for local residents.

So if you find yourself in Cancún and seek a casual sushi outing, Sushigo Huayacan might just be the place for you. With highlights such as friendly service, reasonable prices, and a menu designed to please, it's worth a visit—even if it's purely for the joy of trying sushi in this lively part of town. I picked up an order to go ordering from their website. $1,000 MXN for 4 people. My sense is they are very much a churn and burn with lots of rice and little else on the rolls. I'm not complaining. That is a market segment that they are being successful in. I interacted with three staff members, and each wonderful to deal with. The atmosphere... was a strip mall too close to the road. Also, a market segment they are being successful with but not for a "dining experience." For a quick bit alternative to a taco, sure give it a try. For a meaningful sushi experience with delicious food, this is not it.

I‘ve ordered some sushi with crab and jalapeño and the ramen with seafood. Second time I’ve ordered some pollo dumplings fried and Ramen with chicken. The previous rating maintains. It was good but not that good to be honest. For sure not worth that price. Also didn’t taste super fresh. That’s why only 3 of 5 ⭐ I still can’t understand how people sell sushi without ginger.

Food is good but the waiters could be nicer to tourists as well and not only for the locals.
